In Morocco, it’s customary to serve a glassof green tea with mint as a delicious refreshment and as a sign of hospitality. Discover an authentic recipe and a very special kind of mint. Moroccan mint – a type of spearmint also known as Maghrebi mint – is popular for its wonderfully balanced array of flavours. Its pleasant fresh taste blends perfectly with aromatic green tea. You can add sugar to the mixture, in keeping with Oriental customs, or enjoy it as it comes.
