Strong and malty – East Frisia’s elixir of life
The East Frisians like their national drink malty and aromatic, with a deep red infusion colour. The basis of our East Frisian Tea is therefore a blend of strong teas from selected Indian plantations. Nowhere in Germany is as much tea drunk as in East Frisia. And no wonder! It’s ‘Teetied’ (tea time) four times a day there. Rock sugar, cream and time to chat are also a traditional part of any East Frisian tea ceremony.
